Mollie Kathryn Taylor age 85 years, 11 months, and 10 days of Parkers Lake, Kentucky passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Williams officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Knob Cemetery. She was born November 9, 1929 in Monticello, Kentucky to Epraim "John" Pierce and Flonnie (Worsham) Pierce. Mollie was a member of the Walkers Chapel Baptist Church. She was also a member of WMU and taught Sunday school for over 25 years. Mollie enjoyed going to church and studying her bible. She also enjoyed ceramics. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Glenn Clark Taylor; her son, Johnny Taylor; and her daughter, Liz Taylor. Survivors include her granddaughters, Tyra Harp and husband, Chris, and Erin Ross; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Lois Anderson; and a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Taylor. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Mrs. Mollie Taylor.
