Nellie Jean Jones, age 85 years, 3 months, and 3 days, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at 11:00 am at her residence in Sidney, Ohio. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Rock Springs Baptist Church. Burial wasin the Rock Springs Cemetery. She was born on April 15, 1936, in Jones Hollow, Kentucky to Ernie Roberts and Nannie Jones. Nellie was a member of Old Fashion United Baptist Church in Sidney. She was not only a home maker but a wife, mother, and grandmother who brought smiles to everyone who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jimmie L. Jones, two daughters, two great granddaughters, and her two brothers. Survivors include her children, Mark W. Jones, and his wife, Mandy, Michael J. Jones, Marcella Huffman, and her husband, Kent, 11 grandchildren, Melinda, and husband, Josh, Tabitha, and husband, Phil, Derek, and wife, Tina, Nikki, Alisha, and husband, Dylan, Katie, and husband, Joseph, Devon, Haley, Macey, Samantha, and Addie, 9 great grandchildren, Patrick, Brenden, Elanor, Saleen, Kaleb, Wyatt, Shelby, Sophia, and Elias.
