Norma Lee Boyatt, age 91 years, 3 months, and 18 days, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022, at her daughters' home in Whitley City, Kentucky and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Hilton Duncan officiating. Burial was in the McCreary Memorial Gardens. She was born September 14, 1930, in McCreary County, Kentucky to Oscar Walker and Gertie Stanley Walker. Norma was a retired seamstress and a member of the Stearns First Baptist Church. She enjoyed taking walks, reading, sewing, and spending time with her family. Preceding her in death were her parents, daughter, Gilda Owens, brothers, Estel Walker, and Curtis Walker, and sister, Lorene Shepherd. Survivors include son, David Allen Boyatt, daughters, Crystal Boyatt, and Nona Boyatt Nevels, 4 grandchildren, Scotty, Felicity, Amy, and Steven, and 7 great children, Scotty, Bryce, Taelynn, Drake, Kendrick, Hannah, and Ethan, .
