Penny Miller, age 73, of Stearns, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 26, 2026 and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

In keeping with her wishes cremation was chosen.

Born on October 7, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, Penny was the daughter of the late James Dallas Standall and Betty Rose Winchell Standall. She found great joy in life's simple pleasures, especially spending peaceful hours on her back porch talking with family and friends, watching nature and the wildlife around her. She had a special love for her wild birds and ducks and treasured the companionship of her beloved dogs and cockatiel. Above all, Penny cherished the time she spent with her son and "daughter" in her mountain home as well as the grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Paul Clifton Miller Jr. (Pete), and brothers, Kenny (Sigh), Billy and Bobby.

Survivors include her sons, James Paul Miller and Mark Allen Miller, brothers, Junior and Joey, sisters, Jeannie, Becky, and Vickie, and grandchildren Cearah, Dalton, Sydney, Kimberley and Makennah.
