Phillip Wayne Lockhart, Sr., 79, of Louisville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 8, 2017. Phillip was born in Stearns, Kentucky to the late James Andrew and Bess Ellen Wright Lockhart. He was a member of the Jeffersontown Lodge #774, Kosair Shrine, Elks Lodge #8, and a KY Colonel. Phillip was a Kentucky Real Estate Broker for over 60 years, the proud owner of Louisville Marine and Minuteman Press in DuPont Circle and his beloved "farm" in Stearns, Kentucky. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia Meredith Lockhart, four sons, Phillip, Jr. and his wife, Tracey, Christopher and his wife, Maureen, Andrew, and John and his wife, Nikki, a sister, Rebecca Keith, a brother, Larry Lockhart, and ten grandchildren. Phillip was loved by a host of life-long friends, nieces, nephews, and colleagues. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville, Kentucky. Graveside services will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 13 in Wright Cemetery, Whitley City, KY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kosair Charities.
