Randall Lee Vaughn, age 62 years, 8 months and 24 days, passed away Thursday December 12, 2019, at his home. Randy was born on March 18, 1957 in the Slavens Community of Stearns, to Ernie Vaught and Lexie (Gregory) Vaughn. He had worked as a coal miner and in sawmills. Funeral services were held Sunday, December 13, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Cedar Grove United Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Fore officiating. Burial was in the Bud Gregory Cemetery. Randy enjoyed fishing, ginseng hunting and watching old movies, but he especially enjoyed time with his family. He attended Antioch Baptist Church in Corbin, Ky., Survivors include the mother of his children, Brenda Sawyers Vaughn, two sons, Jerry Vaughn and Ronnie Vaughn, two step sons, Wayne and Ricky Sawyers, All of Corbin, Ky. Three sisters Nellie Vaughn and Myrtle Vaughn, both of Slavens, Linda Ledbetter, Whitley City, and Geneva Vaughn, of the Hilltop Community. Three brothers Ronald Vaughn, and his wife Corrine, of Monticello, Donald Vaughn and Tobb Vaughn both of Slavens, and Gary Vaughn and his wife Vicki, of Stearns. Randy is preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, Mattie Vaughn Pittman, Maxine Clark and Lora Mae Gregory.
