Raymond King Jr., age 47 years, 7 months, and 8 days, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021, at his home in Stearns, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Friday, August 6, 2021, at the First Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Douglas Cemetery. He was born December 24, 1973, in Somerset, Kentucky to Raymond King Sr. and Brenda Garland Lewis Ball. Raymond was a disabled corrections officer. He enjoyed fishing, drawing, baking with his girls, and was also a tattoo artist. Preceding him in death was his father, and grandparents, Nelson Garland, Alice Garland, and Aileen Oliver. Survivors include his mother, grandfathers, Raymond "Cub" Ball, Riley Oliver, two daughters, Madison LeAnne King, Gabriella Michelle King, a half-brother, Matthew King, a sister, Crystal Marlow, a half sister, Tabitha Garland, a niece, Alexandera Shae Honeycutt, and a nephew, Travis Lee Marlow.
