Reba L. Meadows age 95 years, 7 months, and 18 days of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Parkview Nursing Home in Pikeville, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Spice officiating. Burial followed in the Jellico Creek Cemetery. She was born December 20, 1919 in Barren Fork, Kentucky to William Columbus and Erie (Johnson) Leveridge. Reba was a member of the Marshes Siding Baptist Church. She enjoyed raising children, crocheting, and gardening. Reba was a homemaker and worked for Goodyear Tire in Akron, Ohio during World War II. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Andrew Meadows; son, Seldon "Duke" Meadows; daughter, Jeanette Jones; brothers, Leo Leveridge, Laurel "Bunch" Leveridge, and Bill Leveridge; sisters, Elsie Strunk, Mable Bruce, and Hazel Nickles. Survivors include her sons; Edward "Ed" Meadows, William "Bill" Meadows, Jim "JP" Meadows, Wayne Meadows, Charles Meadows, and David Meadows; a daughter, Betty Walch; 25 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
