Robert Lee Lawson, age 78 years, 6 months, and 6 days of Williamsburg, Kentucky, widower of, Melissa Baird Lawson, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Monday, June 6, 2022, at 1:00 pm at the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Pleasant Knob Cemetery. He was born November 26, 1943, in Tennessee to General Strunk and Daisy Lawson. Robert was a retired logger and enjoyed sitting outside and watching television. He loved his chewing tobacco, and he never met a stranger. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include son, Brandon Lawson, and wife Kasundra, daughters, Brandi Lawson, Ashley Collins, and husband, Chris, Angel Lawson, and Amy Treadway, sisters, Anna Lee Sexton, and Lelia Overton.
