Ronnie Lee Pugh, age 74 years and 5 days, of Pine Knot passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at his home and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated.

Ronnie was born August 20, 1949 in Manchester, Alabama to Cleo Pugh and Elieen Virginia Pugh. He had worked as a supervisor for the Simplex Corporation, a truck driver, and a policeman before his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching old westerns, such as Gunsmoke. But he especially enjoyed family time.

Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, Coy Pugh and Larry Pugh, and a sister, Tinsey Faye.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Pugh, daughters, Dr. Lisa Dato and her fiancé, Scott Koronich and Jennifer Clark and her husband, Rush, brothers, Benjamin Pugh and his wife, Patricia, and Raymond Pugh and his wife, Debra, sisters, Janice Webster and her husband, Jeff, and Deborah Pugh, and grandchildren, John Pugh, Michael Dato, Alexandra Dato, and Matthew Pugh.
