Jay Ryan Wilson, age 46 years, 11 months, and 3 days, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 at his residence in Marshes Siding, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the Hickman-Strunk Home with Bro. Lenville Maxwell officiating. Burial was in the Pine Knot Cemetery. Ryan was born April 28, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky to Mary Liz Wilson. He had worked for the Kentucky Department of Transportation and also had been a truck driver. Ryan attended Whitley City Church of God. He enjoyed fishing, Kentucky Basketball and spending time with his family. Preceding him in death were his his grandparents, J. Earl and Lois Ryan Wilson. Survivors include his mother, Mary Liz Wilson, two sons, Joshua Ryan Wilson, of Strunk, Kentucky and Jesse Wayne Rose, of Winfield, Tennessee, a grandson, Joel Ryan Wilson, a very special uncle Jay Dudley Wilson, of Whitley City, Kentucky, also many cousins and a host of friends. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Ryan Wilson.
