Sandra Yvonne Trammell, age 61 years, 11 months, and 9 days, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 in Corbin, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Wednesday December 27, 2016 at 11 am at the East Pine Knot Tabernacle Church of God with Bro. William Kilby and Bro. Braxton King officiating. Burial was in T. Chitwood Cemetery. She was born January 15, 1955 in Jellico, Tennessee to Arless Lawson and Geneva Cornelius Lawson. Sandy was a member of the East Pine Knot Tabernacle Church of God and had worked as a sales clerk at Earl Anderson's Grocery for thirty years. She enjoyed scrapbooking, antiquing and collecting, and watching UK basketball. But what she loved most of all was spending time with her family and caring for them. Preceding her in death were he father, a brother, Jimmy Lawson, a sister, Opal Harris, and her father-in-law, Cecil Trammell. Survivors include her husband, Bruce Trammell, whom she married July 19, 1975, her mother, Geneva Lawson of Stearns, Kentucky, two daughters, Jessica Leggette and her husband, Jay, of Raymond, Mississippi and Janelle Trammell of Pine Knot, Kentucky, grandchildren, Hunter and Adelyn Leggette, brothers, Dale Lawson and his wife, Brenda, of Dillsboro, Indiana, and Bobby Lawson and his wife, Margie, of Indiana, and sisters, Brenda Murray of Bethel, Ohio, Teresa West and her husband, David, of Stearns, Kentucky, and Glenda Frank of Irving, Texas.
