Scott L. Stephens, age 76 years, 7 months, and 10 days, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at his home in Whitley City, Kentucky. He was born January 2, 1941 in Whitley City, Kentucky to Rosevelt Stephens and Jalie Watters Stephens. Scott was a retired electrician. He was of the Church of God faith. Scott enjoyed going to church, hunting and fishing and love to snake hunt. one of his favorite things was eating ice cream. Proceeding him in death were his parents, one daughter, Jane Stephens, one brother, Carl Stephens and one sister, Norma Jean Hamby. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Stephens, of Whitley City, Kentucky, two daughters, Charlotte Fay Stephens, and Rachel Lee Anderson, and her husband, Joe. three brothers, Jack Stephens, and his wife Juanita, Robert Stephens, and his wife Cindy, and Phillip Stephens. four grand children, and lots of nieces and nephews.
