Sharon Ann Tucker, age 67, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026.

She was born April 17, 1959, to Clarence Corder and Bonnie Corder. Sharon was a hardworking woman who spent many years employed with McCreary Manufacturing Company, American Bag Corporation, and Cracker Barrel. She was a member of Day Ridge United Baptist Church.

Sharon enjoyed listening to music, shopping at thrift stores, and staying busy. She was an excellent seamstress and especially enjoyed working and spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death were her daughter, Christina Ann Tucker Slaven, and her oldest sister, Mildred Kay Corder.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Gary Allen Tucker; her parents, Clarence and Bonnie Corder, grandchildren whom she raised and considered as her own children, Chelsey Nichole Slaven, Brittney Elaine Braden and husband Randall Edward Braden Slaven, and Michael Lee Slaven and wife Autumn Slaven; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Paisley, Hayven, Serrisity, and Waylon; sisters, Kathy Lynn Corder and Rhonda Corder Thompson and husband Jeramy Thompson; brother, Ronald Dale Corder; and nephew, Charles Curtis Corder.

Private services were held. Burial was in the Strunk Yancey Cemetery.

Sharon will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her, but the many wonderful memories she leaves behind will be cherished by her family and friends.
