Shirrel Wendell Keith of Louisville, KY, 77, went to our Lord and Savior Thursday afternoon, August 29, 2019. Shirrel retired from Genworth Insurance Company. He worked previously as an agent and district manager for Nationwide Insurance Company. He was a former member of the Lions Club and served as president of the Harrodsburg club. He was born on November 3, 1941 in Whitley City, KY to Roy and Leona Keith. Shirrel is survived by his wife of 49 years, Brenda Rhodes Keith; his daughter, Kristi Keith Cannon; a grandson, Kaden Cannon; one sister, Carolene Branscum. three brothers: ST Keith, Hoyt Keith, and Ralph Keith, and a host of brother-in laws, sister-in laws, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, April Keith; his son, Kevin Keith, his father Roy Keith, his mother Lenna Keith, his sister Jean Brooks, and two brothers: Erstle Keith and B.J. Keith. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at noon on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd., East Louisville.
