Sue Ann Ballou, age 79 years, 10 months, and 28 days, widow of Daniel Obie Winchester and Armin Ballou, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky, and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral services were held Friday, May 30, 2025, in the Pine Knot Cemetery.

Sue was born on June 25, 1945. Remarkably, she began working at the young age of five. She had a deep love for farming and a lifelong affection for animals.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Audrey Slavey, husbands, Daniel Obie Winchester, and Armin Ballou.

Survivors include sons, Clinton Cleve Winchester and Denton Danny Lid Winchester, daughter, Thelarie Weaver, and husband, Eddie, and special friend, Steve Stephens.

Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Sue Ann Ballou.
