Jeanie Sue "Susie" Vanover, age 52 years, 1 month, and 18 days, wife of Tim Vanover, passed away Friday September 3, 2021, at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Sandhill Cemetery. . She was born July 16, 1969, in Pineville, Kentucky to Ray Cox and Betty White Cox. Jeanie was a homemaker and a member of the Sandhill United Baptist Church. She loved sewing, making quilts, camping, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her father, Ray Cox. Survivors include her mother, Betty Cox, husband, Tim Vanover, daughters, Samantha Cox, and Betty Cox, grandchildren, Nathan Neeley and Coleman Neeley, siblings, Bonnie Privett, and husband, Charlie, Sam Cox, and wife, Della, Janie Cox, and husband, Brian, and Peggy Cox, nephew, Bradley Cox, whom she raised, special friend, Lisa Tucker, many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
