Thelma Martin Taylor, age 99 years and 10 months, passed away Saturday March 22, 2025 in West Chester, Ohio and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the Mill Creek Community Church at 1:00 pm. Burial followed in the Mill Creek Cemetery.

Thelma was born on May 22, 1925 in Honeybee, Kentucky to Melton Lewis Martin and Ida Renfro Martin. She had a passion for needlepoint, sewing, traveling, fishing, hiking, and cooking. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family. She was especially excited for her upcoming 100th birthday celebration.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Michael Taylor and Ronald Lewis Taylor; sons-in-law, Wendell Strunk and Bruce Rose; brothers, Foist Martin and Delmer Martin; sisters, Rae Taylor, Anna Lou Neal, Dorothy Wahl, Melrose Warman, Dean Calvert, Glenna Taylor, and Faye Gilreath; two grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Thelma is survived by her son, Ardell Taylor (Donna), Williamstown, KY; daughters, Reba Morse (Foster), Lorton, VA, Phyllis Strunk, West Chester, OH, and Joan Rose, Dumfries, VA; 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
