Theodore "Ted" Coffey, age 69 years, 9 months, and 5 days, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at his home in Pine Knot, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 6:00 pm in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Internment followed Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Corder Cemetery. He was born April 11, 1952, in Oneida, Tennessee, to James Coffey and Lona Flynn Coffey. Ted enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. Preceding him in death were his parents, and brother, Wilburn Coffey. Survivors include his wife, Judy Grundy Coffey, sons, Theodore Coffey, and James Coffey, brothers, James Coffey Jr., and wife, Diane, Carl Coffey, and wife, Carolyn, Woodrow Coffey, and Lonnie Coffey, and wife Wilma, sisters, Stella Moore, and husband, Cecil, Jewell Sumner, and husband, Paul, and Betty Bryant, and granddaughter, Emerson Coffey. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Theodore "Ted" Coffey.
