Thomas A. Carr Sr., age 77, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026, at his home.

Thomas was born December 15, 1948, in West Virginia to the late Leslie Carr and Juanita (Biggs) Carr. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Carlene (Shepherd) Carr.

Thomas leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish the memories they made together. Survivors include his two sons, Thomas A. Carr Jr. and Douglas Carr (Amber); and his daughter, Stephanie Register (Randy). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chris (Miranda), Josh, Ashley, Lily, Riley, Marshall, and Benny; and his great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Wyatt, Wrenlee, and Carter.

Graveside services were held Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bruce-Shepherd Cemetery.

Thomas was a member of the DAV. He will be remembered with love by his family and friends. His passing leaves an empty place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, but the memories they made, the love they shared, and the time spent together will remain a lasting source of comfort in the days ahead.
