Andrew Wayne Cooper age 44 years, 4 months, and 8 days of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Yancey officiating. In accordance to Mr. Cooper's wishes, cremation followed.
He was born November 26, 1971 in Muncie, Indiana to Larry Wayne Cooper and Virginia Ellen (Shook) Cooper. Andrew attended Three Strands Christian Church. He enjoyed music, DJing at the WHAY radio station, and other events. Andrew loved BBQs and critiquing food. He also had an interest in comic books and traveling.
Preceding him in death is his father, Larry.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie (Bryant) Cooper; his daughter, Andrea Cooper, of Whitley City, Kentucky; his parents, Ellen and Phillip Coffey of Stearns, Kentucky; brothers, Fred Cooper and Luke Coffey, both of Stearns, Kentucky; a sister, Shelly Cordell and husband, JR, also of Stearns, Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Linda Bryant; nieces, Ryver and Rayne Cooper; nephews, Bryer and Gavin Cordell and Bubba and Hank Baird; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Mr. Andrew Cooper.
