Condolence: There will never be another Barney Perry. He was a very special uncle to me. He loved to laugh and how loudly he would laugh! I will miss that laugh that his disease had taken from him. He was a strong one for sure that fought up until the end, never complaining, even when most people would give up. Everyone that met him, liked Barney.
Our most special moment came this summer, when I walked into his room and he whispered to me, “I got saved”! He was so happy and proud. We hugged and hugged while we both cried tears of joy. On that day, I told him no matter what we would see each other again along with our other loved ones who had accepted Jesus Christ. He was so excited and told everyone that came into his room that day!
Today, my heart is sad, but knowing he accepted the Lord, I know Barney has been healed and is no longer suffering. His only wish would to be certain those he loved accept Jesus as well. I will always hold his memories in my heart until we meet again. Forever his “Tiny” ??
