Clyde Jones, age 67 years, 1 month, and 10 days, of Whitley City, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 12:00 pm at the Hill Top Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Tapley officiating. Burial was in the Sammy New Cemetery.
He was born March 20, 1951 in Stearns, Kentucky to Fred Jones and Effie Watters Jones. Clyde retired from the steel industry and attended the Hilltop Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother Lawrence Jones, and a sister, Imogene Jones.
Survivors include brothers, Ardell Jones and his wife, Tonya, of Stearns, Stanley Jones and his companion, Ella Mae Matthews, of Whitley City, and Carl Jones of Whitley City, sisters, Christine Penticuff of Monticello and Viola Maxwell of Norwood, Ohio, niece, Michelle Matthews, and great niece, Brooklyn Matthews.
The passing of Clyde will be mourned by all who knew and loved him. But we know that he leaves many wonderful memories behind and we hope these will be of comfort to you in your time of sorrow.
