Colombus Heath, age 75 years, 8 months, and 22 days passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 at Somerset Nursing & Rehab.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 20,2018 at the Hickman- Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Braxton King officiating.
He was born December 26,1942 to Herman and Maggie ( Boyatt ) Heath at Worley Coal Camp in McCreary County, Kentucky. Columbus enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren and family. He was also of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mildred Heath, and brother-in-law ,Eddie Stephens.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 55 years, Shirley Heath of Pine Knot, sons, Columbus E. Heath Jr. and wife, Lisa, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Jimmy Duane Heath and wife, Bridgett, of Clinton, Tennessee, daughter, Jennifer Jo West and husband, Ted, of Pine Knot, brothers, Gordon Heath and wife, Sue, of Alabama, Hoyt Heath and wife, Sue, of Whitley City, Lonnie Heath and wife, Reba, of Stearns, Donnie Heath and wife, Faye, of Revelo, and Cecil Heath of Stearns, sisters, Lorene Heath, Mary Heath both of Stearns, and Flonnie Stephens of Revelo, grandchildren, Columbus Matthew Heath, Chelsea Heath, Shedara Heath, Trista Heath, Tamara Heath, Natosha Morgan, Tyler West, Brandon West, and Parker West, four great grandchildren, and a host of wonderful friends as well.
