Doris Coffey age 61 years, 10 months, and 9 days of Stearns, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Inman and Bro. George Allen Coffey officiating. Burial followed in the Sherd Dobbs Cemetery.
She was born April 9, 1953 in Stearns, Kentucky to Herbert Coffey and Lillie (Dobbs) Coffey. Doris was a member of the Cherokee Baptist Church. She enjoyed puzzles and walking.
Preceding her in death are her parents; grandparents, Rubin and Alice Coffey and Thomas and Julie Dobbs; brothers, Lloyd Williams, Daniel, and Dallas Coffey; sisters, Wanda Burke, Lois Koger, and Elsie Gregory; a niece, Melissa Lynn Coffey; a nephew, Nelson Anthony Coffey; and a sister-in-law, Janice Coffey.
Survivors include her brothers, Kenneth Coffey and wife, Mable, of Strunk, Kentucky, Kelly Coffey and wife, Janet, of Muncie, Indiana, and Bobby Coffey of Stearns, Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Wanda Coffey; brothers-in-law, Willis Burke, Wendell Koger, and Dester Gregory; 21 nieces and nephews; 33 great nieces and nephews, 18 great-great nieces and nephews; and a special friend at the nursing home, Abbie Campbell.
Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Miss Doris Coffey.
