Condolence: In 1959/60 Ellouise & I were "suite-mates" @ E Ky Teachers College, with Phyllis Popplewell, Yvonne Allen, & I was the onl Angie Grigsby. I was the only 1 married-@ 16yrs., & had a 1 yr. old son at gps. home. These beautiful, sweet teenagers were flirting/dating, etc. while I stayed in brooding.lol Ellouise was so loving & caring that she took me to meet her family; i.e., Mr. & Mrs. Stephens, & several siblings. She & I received our degrees, taught, & pursued our interests. In the last few years I read her articles in Lex. Herald, & I was always so happy for her. Please share my love, prayers, & Our Lord's Blessings to all of you. If any of you remember me please feel free to contact me.

I will not be there to attend your mother's services, but know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, esp. during this time. I know how much you loved her and what a good mother she was, and as you said she is in heaven now and you have all of your beautiful memories of her. I am just so sorry this has happened, but God knows best and I pray he will give you peace.
