Jack Maurice  Koger
Jack Maurice Koger age 75 years and 9 months, of Stearns, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at his home.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the City of Refuge Church.
He was born April 12, 1939 in Smithtown, Kentucky to Austin Koger and Mary (Cain) Koger. Jack was a member of the City of Refuge Church and enjoyed serving the church. He was also very civic minded and had been named citizen of the year of McCreary County. Jack also enjoyed playing Santa Claus for the children at Christmas time.
Preceding him in death are his parents, a son, Austin Koger, and 8 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda (Ashby) Koger of Stearns, Kentucky; sons, William Koger and wife, Elizabeth, also of Stearns, Kentucky, and Wade Koger and wife, Brenda; daughters, Amy Sweppy of Stearns, Kentucky and Robyn Koger-Kidd, of St. Paul, Minnesota; a brother, Don Koger of Tennessee; 5 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Mr. Jack Koger.
