Mrs. Jessie Marie (Eldridge) Perry, age 71, of 244 Norton Road, Kingston, GA, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, at her home.
She was born in Fourmile, KY, March 17, 1943, daughter of the late Dillard Eldridge and Ottie Mae (Black) Eldridge. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Mrs. Perry was an avid reader, enjoyed watching westerns, singing in church, and loved being with her family. Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her of twenty-five years husband on February 20, 1984, Arnold Perry, JR; son, Timothy Perry; sisters, Thelma Eldridge, Zelma Eldridge, and Idella Eldridge Crabtree; brothers, Dillard Eugene Eldridge and Bobby Dean Eldridge.
Survivors include her five children, Elvena Perry of Kingston, Doyle Perry of Kingston, Sandra Ross and Chris Thompson of Kingston, Vicky and Tom Clark of Euharlee, and Marvin Perry of Aragon; six grandchildren, Santana and Keith Gossett, Jessica and Joshua Rugar, Kara Ross, Nicole Sprayberry and Brandon Perry, Amber and TJ Hooker; 4 great-grandchildren, Llillyian Gossett, Draven Gossett, Darius Rugar and Zipporah Rugar; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Hickman – Strunk Funeral Home with Branch President Harold Hansford officiating. Interment followed in the Upper Cal Hill Cemetery.
Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Jessie Perry.
