Obituary for Joseph Dale Lindsey

Joseph Dale Lindsey
Joseph Dale Lindsay passed away on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018.
Joe was an army veteran, graduate of Indiana Wesleyan College, and a Manager of Clinical Systems Development at Kindred Healthcare.
He loved his UK Wildcats whether they were on a basketball court or a baseball field. However, you could often hear him muttering, “The heartache that is Kentucky football.”
Joe loved coaching. It didn’t matter if it was boys or girls, baseball, softball, or basketball or whether it was at the middle or high school level. He just loved the kids. This was especially true when it came to his own travel baseball team called the Derby City Thunder. He loved each one of his players as if they were his own.
However, Joe’s greatest love and his absolute pride and joy were his sons Michael, Alex, and Camden. Every thought and every action were done to ensure that his boys were taken care of and had the best life possible.
Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Susannah and their three boys, Michael, Alexander, and Camden. He was preceded in death by his father, Don K Lindsay. Joe is survived by his Mom, Mary Jane, His sister, Julie (Jeff), his brother Chad, and his youngest brother Dennis (Leigha) and six nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40291.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
