Obituary for Justin Dewayne Shelton
Justin Dewayne Shelton age 32 years, 1 month, and 10 days of Burnside, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. George Sears officiating. Burial followed in the Corder Cemetery.
He was born May 19, 1982 in Somerset, Kentucky to Larry Shelton and Loretta (Jones) Shelton. Justin was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Kidder, Kentucky. He was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and four-wheelers. Justin also liked to shoot pool occasionally.
Preceding him in death is his aunts, Patricia Ann Jones and Bobbie Jo Shelton, a cousin, Jessica Jewlene, and a step-grandfather, Calvin Staley.
Survivors include his children, Jacob, Justin Christopher, and Jacklyn Shelton; parents, Larry and Loretta Shelton; a sister, Rebecca Shelton; nieces and nephews, Cierra Smith, Dregan Shelton, Skylynn Barrett, and Raiden Barrett, all of Burnside, Kentucky; grandparents, Betty and Leamon Ball of Slavens, Kentucky; a grandmother, Janice Biby Staley; and several aunts and uncles.
