LaDonna J. Hurd age 37 years, 11 months, and 9 days of Bronston, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Chaplain Carter Stewart officiating. Burial followed in the Warman-Bryant Cemetery.
She was born May 7, 1976 in Somerset, Kentucky to Donald Ray Gibson and Wilma Jane Bruce. LaDonna was a member of the Eagle Creek Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Home Health and enjoyed reading. LaDonna also volunteered for the Bronston and Burnside Fire Departments.
Her father precedes her in death.
Survivors include her children, Kaitlyn and Christopher Hurd and Ashley Sellers; her mother, Janie Bruce;, all of Bronston, Kentucky; brothers, Christopher Bruce of North Carolina and Rodney Howard of McCreary County, Kentucky; sisters, Sharon Bell of Wyoming, Mary B. Ridner, and Brandy Howard, both of McCreary County, Kentucky; and the father of her children, Daniel Hurd of Williamsburg, Kentucky.
