Alfred Lander Perry age 86 years and 30 days of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. John Bates officiating. Burial followed in the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky.
He was born December 18, 1928 in Honeybee, Kentucky to Ogle Perry and Lula (Barnes) Perry. Lander was a retired Veteran of the United States military, having served in the Army, Marine Corps, and the Air Force. He enjoyed farming and tending to his orchard.
Preceding him in death is his parents; and 15 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Perry, whom he married September 3, 1977; sons, Robert Perry and Patrick Perry of Florida; a step-son, Gene Collins and wife, Jackie, of Nancy, Kentucky; a sister, Dolly Goodin of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; 3 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Mr. Lander Perry.
