Mary Belle Thompson, age 81, of Colerain Township, Ohio formerly of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on December 20, 1935, in Whitley City, Kentucky, the daughter of Eli and Nerva (Owens) Tucker. She attended school in Whitley City and later married Wille E. Thompson. Mary Belle was employed in manufacturing for over 30 years. She was of Southern Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Willie E. Thompson, Sr.; three children, Wille E. Thompson, Jr. “Duke” (Ellen T.), Teresa Belle Harrell (Danny), and Bobby Dude Thompson (Carleen); nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three brothers, Noah Reed Tucker (Esther), Dude L. Tucker, and Gary L. Tucker; two sisters, Nora Miller (Bill) and Margarett Ann Wong (Stan); and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ruby Quimby and Lorita Mize. Friends may call at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Rd., Ross, OH on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 2 PM with burial following in Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton, OH.
