Obituary for Maxine Clark

Maxine Clark
Maxine Clark, age 91 years, 6 months, and 14 days passed away Monday, March 12, 2018.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Braxton King and Bro. Joe Monroe officiating. Burial was in the Angel Cemetery.
She was born August 26, 1926, in Stearns, Kentucky, to Pete King and Bertha (Turner) King. She moved to Latonia, Kentucky, where her two children were born with William "Bill" Bradley. She remarried and later moved to Kenwood, Ohio, with her husband Robert "Bob" Clark. She most recently resided in Villa Hills, Kentucky for 14 years with her daughter and son-in-law.
In her early years, Maxine worked as a fashion model and beautician, and then later, after her children were grown, at Hosea Rigging. None of these roles compare to the devotion she had to her family. Maxine's hands were always busy cooking, cleaning, and helping in the daily lives of the grandchildren who lived nearby. These tasks filled her heart. Likewise, she enriched the lives of her great grandchildren, many of whom have grown up loving on her most days of the week.
She also loved stringing beans, sweet tea, and treats after every meal.
Maxine will be lovingly remembered by her two children, Christopher Bradley and his wife Marilyn, of Georgetown, Ky, and Cathie Bradley Klee and her husband Vincent, of Villa Hills, Ky. She was the adoring Grammy to 5 grandchildren: Vincent Klee III and his wife Cesia, Jennifer Klee Riffle and her husband Micah, Kristin Bradley Shattuck and her husband Brad, Lindsey Klee Viens and her husband Nicholas, and Mathew Bradley.
She was affectionately known as "Gigi" to her 11 Great Grandchildren: Vincent Klee IV, Ava Klee, Alivia Klee, Henry Viens, Caroline Shattuck, Harper Riffle, Alexander (Alex) Klee, Noah Shattuck, Elizabeth (Libby) Viens, Braxton Riffle, and William Viens.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Clark, her parents, two brothers, and five sisters.
