Obituary for Norma Jean Leveridge
Norma Jean Leveridge 83 years and 2 days of Somerset, Kentucky, retired manager for the Show Place Cinemas, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Somerset, Kentucky with Rev. Charles Spice officiating. Burial followed in the Methodist Cemetery in Whitley City.
She was born February 2, 1931 in Somerset, Kentucky to Vela (Leveridge) Spradlin. Norma was of the Methodist faith. She worked many years as the manager of Virginia Cinemas and later as the manager for Show Place Cinemas in the mall.
Preceding her in death is her mother.
She is survived by her cousins, Don Stricklin and wife, Sybil, Becky Davis and husband, Larry, and Nancy Leveridge; and special friends, Joan and Larry Garner, and Jit and Sue Stogsdill.
Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Miss. Norma Jean Leveridge.
