Oma Lee Perry age 83 years, 5 months, and 13 days of Stearns, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at the McCreary Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Hilton Duncan officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Knot Cemetery.
She was born February 7, 1932 in Jenkins, Kentucky to George A. Perry and Cora L. (Sexton) Perry. Oma was a member of the Pleasant Rock United Baptist Church. She enjoyed caring for her family, tending to her flowers, and gardening. Oma was a wonderful sister and aunt.
Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers, Thomas E. Perry, Ben H. Perry, William A. Perry, and John E. Perry.
Survivors include her sisters, Rosa Branham and husband, Cecil, of Stearns, Kentucky, Reba Martin and husband, Jack, also of Stearns, Kentucky, Mary E. Lewis of Sidney, Ohio, and Wilma Matthews and husband, Harvey, of Whitley City, Kentucky; brothers, Barney Perry of Whitley City, Kentucky, and Robert Perry also of Whitley City, Kentucky; sisters-in-law, Imogene Perry, Martha Perry, and Arba Perry; 27 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Miss Oma Perry.
