Obituary for Phyllis Jones
Phyllis Carol Jones, age 66 years, 6 months, and 8 days of Stearns, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 21, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Stanley, Bro. Wayne Inman, and Bro. Eddie Morgan officiating. Burial followed in the Angel Cemetery.
She was born July 10, 1948 in Yamacraw, Kentucky to Johnie E. Jones and Ada Inman Jones. Phyllis had a loving spirit and loved to listen to stories.
Preceding her in death were her father and a brother, Arrie Oscar Jones.
Survivors include her mother, Ada Jones of Stearns, Kentucky; brothers, Clarence Jones and his wife, Sheila, of Oneida, Tennessee, Lawrence Jones of Stearns, Kentucky, and Dallas Jones and his wife, Sue, of Whitley City, Kentucky; sisters, Imogene Perry of Weatherford, Texas, Ella Mae Matthews and her husband, Cecil, of Stearns, Kentucky, Judy Morgan of Whitley City, Kentucky, Pat Strunk and her husband, Dale, of Stearns, Kentucky, and Kay Bruce of Stearns, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
