Obituary for Rebecca Bruce
Rebecca Sue Bruce, age 77 years, 6 months, and 14 days, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.
In keeping her wishes she was cremated.
She was born July 9, 1940 in McCreary County, Kentucky to George Mahan Ridener and Ruth Slaven Ridener. Rebecca was a retired sales associate at Wal-Mart, and a member of Silverville United Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Don Bruce, her son, David Bruce and her brother, Kenneth Ridner.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Bruce, of the Philippines, and "Dusty" Bruce, of Whitley City, a brother, David Ridener and his wife Nancy, of Florida, a sister, Patsy Bridewell, of Foster, Kentucky, and one grandchild, Desmond Bruce.
Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Rebecca Sue Bruce.
