Theodore Johnnie  Kidd
Theodore Johnnie Kidd age 81 years, 10 months, and 9 days of the Oneida Rehab and Nursing Home, formerly of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Pine Knot Cemetery.
He was born March 17, 1932 in Eubank, Pulaski County, Kentucky to Johnnie Kidd and Luria (Vickery) Kidd. Theodore was a member of the East Apple Tree Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union, the Kentucky-Tennessee Fox Hunters Association, and was a Kentucky Colonel. Theodore enjoyed fox hunting and visiting with people.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife, Sue (Smith) Kidd, and a sister, Gloria Kidd.
Survivors include his sons, John Kidd and wife, Denyse, of Somerset, KY, Jim Kidd and special daughter-in-law, Melisa, of Pioneer, TN, Ted Kidd and girlfriend, Pam Bowles of Winfield, TN; a daughter, Sandi Cook and husband, Travis, of Louisville, KY; sisters, Doris Kidd of Pine Knot, KY and Joyce Jones of Marietta, GA; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to Pam Patton and the Oneida Nursing Home for the special care that was given to Theodore.
