Obituary for Timothy Craig Jones
Timothy Craig Jones, age 58 years, 3 months, and 18 days, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Jean Waddle Care Center, Somerset, Kentucky.
In accordance with Tim's wishes, he was cremated and a memorial service will be held Sunday at 1:00 pm, at the home of the late Edward Shook, 2339 Lick Creek Rd., Whitley City, Kentucky.
He was born August 12, 1959 in Hamilton, Ohio to Ruthel Jones and Earma Patrick Jones. Tim was a heavy equipment operator and worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed wood carving, sculpting, drawing, took pleasure in designing fishing lures, fishing, reading, Tim also enjoyed writing and was a very kind hearted person.
Preceding him in death were his mother, two brothers, Darrell and Jimmy Jones.
Survivors include a son, Dylon Jones, of Louisville, Kentucky, former wife and caregiver, Theresa Jones, of Whitley City, Kentucky, three brothers, Charles (Rusty) Jones and his wife, Mary, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Carl (Skip) Jones and his wife, Della, of Whitley City, Kentucky, Dennis Dink) Jones, of Whitley City, Kentucky and one sister in law, Loretta Jones, of Whitley City, Kentucky, two sisters, Ramona (Mona) Mason, and her husband, Terry, of Whitley City, Kentucky, Lisa Tucker, and her husband, Crawford, of Whitley City, Kentucky.
Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Timothy Jones.
