The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bessie Lloyd can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Nelda Gilreath
Condolence: Bessie was a beloved sister. I will miss her dearly, I have so many fond memories of her, she loved her family & church. She & Don dearly loved to eat at my house, or I carried meals to them. She spent holidays at mine or Betty's house as long as she was able. She adored my girls & she longed to see my Sweethearts visit which brought a smile to her face. Each time I visited her either at home or in the rehab, she would say stay just a little longer, never failed to thank me for visiting & come back. She loved Vernon as a brother. I hope time heals the loss, but I can never forget her.

Condolence: I am going to miss Bessie so much. I have so many memories of things she and I did together. Especially watching the Ky Basketball games together she was wilder about them than me. I miss her dearly but Heaven is sweeter with her there. Love and Prayers for her family.

Condolence: I count all the Spradlin Family as dear friends. Dewey Spradlin was moderator of the church the night they ordained me to the ministry. I was a guest in Bessie and Donald's home many times. I was blessed by our visits, including the nursing home visits. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
