Condolence: Nedra, was not only "My Favorite Teacher," she was a very dear friend.
During my last first and last year at McCreary Central High School (We were the first Graduating Class of 1979)
Nedra went above and beyond for students EVERYDAY! She should have been voted "Extraordinary Teacher Award."
She taught me how to be strong, and that in her words, "sleep is a waste of time."
I wish mish you my dear friend.

Condolence: To the Family of Ms. Nedra Brown,
I was very saddened to hear of Ms. Brown's passing. I had her as a teacher in high school during my Sophmore year of high school when she taught psychocology. She let me know that she did not usually allow sophmore's to take the psychology class but she would give me a chance and if I she thought I would not do well she would have me to withdraw.I did not have to withdraw and I am very happy I did not. I liked her so much I took her for history when all my other class mates were taking another teacher. I loved the way she would always announce the lunch menu. "Today's lunch is chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, green beans, peaches, rolls, butter, milk and a pabst blue ribbon." (Just a little joke she did. I doubt she had ever even seen a PBR.) She was a very classy lady and was very caring of her students. I was truly Blessed to have had her to help mold me and cross into my life. I am very sorry for your loss. I know this will be a very difficult time for all of you. May God keep your family close and comfort you and bring you peace during your sorrow. Sincerely. Amy (West) Perry
