The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Thelma Wright can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Bonnie Stephens West
Condolence: I had Ms. Wright for my 4th grade teacher at Revelo Elem. and I loved her and all my early teachers there. She was a very good teacher. She taught us all about birds that year and because of her I learned a lot and still love to watch birds and learn about them. Also when she read us a story she often made things to demonstrate the thing in the story. She made us cornmeal mush one time right in the room. She often gave out crackers and cheese or peanut butter with a milk in the morning that was before the school breakfast program began. She knew some might be hungry. I'm thankful for the teachers I had. God be with the family of Mrs. Wright.
